Thanks to an engagement rate up to three times the industry average, I have grown the SJSU Research and Innovation LinkedIn account 236% in less than two years. I'm honored to present the stories of SJSU research to an audience of thousands on a daily basis.
To meet our audience where they are, I started an Instagram account specifically to reach students. In just over a year, we've gained 1,825 followers, and counting.
During a time of some research precarity, engaged storytelling about our mission and goals became essential. I led a home page redesign as part of this effort. Visit www.sjsu.edu/research.
